The corporate for roomours reflects the simple and functional design of their products. The sometimes playful character of creative work, through handwritings from brainstormings, stands in contrast and thus creates tension.

out for space

Corporate design for out for space, an in­ter­disci­plin­ary team of engin­eers and de­sign­ers, who developed a pat­en­ted treatment tech­no­logy to process rattan in an new and unknown way. Through the process technology a new material is created. The graphics and the key visual are based on its structural enhancement, sup­ported by a customised typeface.

Initiated by Konrad Rufus Müller presenting his documentary photographs of political and cultural desks of known personalities. Underlined by a brilliant essay by Sten Nadolny on the cultural history of desks the book gains an exceptional uniqueness.

As lead design agency for corporate publications, Anzinger and Rasp is responsible for the magazine, the annual report and other publications, such as the company's chronicle on the occasion of the company's 150th anniversary.

This project is planned as a quarterly published monothematic magazine. This edition is about wandering, being abroad, moving after a short stay… . All text content is self edited, as well as the picture series.

Entrepreneur

The magazine of Ernst & Young presents interesting entrepreneurs worldwide. Every story comes with factual and beautiful documentary photography of the protagonist and their surrounding enviroment. It is published two times a year in two languages ​​in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Bondye Bon

PrÉtexte The publishing house is designed as a neutral observer, as an agent spying through a newspaper. For the collection »The great disasters« ten front pages were created as a series.

Bondye Bon A book about the earthquake in Haiti in 2012, supported by expressive illustrations. The book presents general information about Haiti (1st Chapter), illustrated sequences of the destruction (2nd Chapter) and compares traditionally exerted voodoo practices, which are blamed for the quake in some theories, with scientific explanations (3rd Chapter).

The magazine of the German party "BÜNDNIS 90/DIEGRÜNEN" is monothematic and deals quarterly with the current political topics and provides facts, arguments and inspiration.

Part I »Digital media are about
to replace the book as main
medium.«

The thesis examines how reading is going to change and develop in the future and how it differs to reading books. Both leading media – the book and its digital counterpart displayed on a tablet – were subjected to a comparison, by extracting their specifications and restage them incisively and aesthetically…

Part II Subsequent, it was verified which medium can fulfill certain requirements better.

The multimedia publication is predestined to be nonlinear through its digital options: Information can be quickly linked to each other, there is neither a beginning nor end, pieces of information are »without place« and thus available at any time at any place. The book links form and content more appropriate: The physical and sensual presence of the book, the materiality, the ideal connection to the historical tradition of the book as a source of culture is self-evident and can at best be generated digitally through artifacts.

This editorial project is defined through the terms of the input, output and transfer characteristics of a skype-conversation of three persons over almost 2 years. An invisible archive was transferred into a new format and story by adding pictures and reorganizing, editing, designing and transforming the existing data. The life of three persons and their whereabouts, people they’ve met with and places they’ve stayed at are so captured in 247 pages.

Publication on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the co-coperation between the European Patent Office and China's State Intellectual Property Office, showing major events and agreements on intellectual property systems.

Insignien

With the background of historical contradictions and inconsistencies this »documentary view« emerges – stills of Staufer nobility. The focus isn’t on the rectification of traditional »facts«, but on the sometimes quite strange inconsistencies. The gray areas. These are highlighted humorously and polemically, sometimes exaggerated through sarcasm.

The project was created as a collaboration with the city of Schwäbisch Gmünd in the context of its 850th anniversary.

Illustrations for front page and centerfold for the Amnesty International newsreport »Amnesty Aktion« about arms trade.

About
My great passion lays in rhythm and grids and details in type – micro and macro. I love designing rules as much as I love breaking them. I believe in the controllability of chaos through systematization – taking also the irrational and subversive into account, but always refer to content as its legitimation.

I studied graphic design at the HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd, in southern Germany, and the Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne/ECAL, in Switzerland. Beside my studies I made an internship at Fons Hickmann m23 in autumn/winter 2012 in Berlin.

In July 2013 I graduated as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design at the HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd. Since 2014 I work for Anzinger und Rasp in Munich.
